Welcome to ProTranslate a registered New Zealand owned translation firm servicing clients in New Zealand and the Middle East, established in 2014 by Shams Al-Chalabi, an affiliate member of the New Zealand Society of Translators and Interpreters (NZSTI).
Shams has been translating for over eight years - English to Arabic/ Arabic to English - in the Middle East and New Zealand. Her translation expertise cover a broad spectrum of text; marketing, constructions, industrial, technical, telecommunications, legal,  literature .. to mention a few.
​Having worked in the publishing industry for five years in a metropolitan island like Bahrain, Shams developed strong relationships with copy writers, proof readers and professional and highly accredited translators from different parts of the world; who now stand by her work, and collaborate to deliver the highest standards of translation.

ProTranslate offer translation in the following areas:

Translation: $0.25 NZD per word
Proof Reading: $0.20 NZD per word
Interpreting $60 NZD per hour
Copy Writing $100 NZD per page (negotiable)

A private interpreter can support you in many ways be it at government department or in business when you need to perfect your communication with people who speak different language to yours.
ProTranslate offer you private interpreters at competitive rates. Please refer to our fees section. 
Multilingual Copywriting
Be it a promotional brochure/booklet, an article, an advertisement or even a coffee table book, rest assured that your copywriting needs will be met with the four languages strand that we have on offer (Arabic, English, French and Greek).
